    If you're eager to start cooking with clay, this is the place to start. I love the round soup pots for beans but the casseroles will do as well.

    Lee and her brother grow and dry some great chiles. Visit them at the farmers market, online or at their stand.

    Take it from someone who generally isn't nuts about brown rice- this stuff is grand!

El Dorado Kitchen at the Beard House

Here at Rancho Gordo, we try not to play favorites but it's hard not to get excited about food and beans and cooking when Justin Everett comes by to pick up his order for El Dorado Kitchen in Sonoma. He's smart, nice and talented. Works for us!

Justin's cuisine was recently featured at the Beard House in New York for an event called Sonoma in the City. We're so proud to know him!

Justin made Don Watson lamb tasting (herb roasted  rack chop,sous vide lamb leg noissette, seared merguez in cassoulet )Rancho Gordo heirloom bean cassoulet with fresh favas and haricot verts,sauce Robert.
