I can't stop. A recent move made me realize it's a bit of a problem.
I can't stop buying wooden spoons for the kitchen. One, two, twenty, forty....how many do I have? More important, how many do I need? I have a good friend, an excellent cook, who claims you need three. I need a lot of them, like different paint brushes. But I don't need dozens and dozens. I suppose if it keeps me off the streets and from getting in trouble, it could be worse.

Very funny. With me it's measuring spoons. And to some extent, measuring cups.

I have the same addiction! bamboo, wood, big, little, flat, curved, scrapers, & scoops, I even have some spoons that were shipped to me from Sweden! My sister-in-law there sent them to me along with a recipe for "spoon butter" to keep them in good condition for a long time. They don't melt like plastic, retain flavors like silicone, or scratch my cookware like metal. They're perfect!

I hate to stay in the kitchen. Don't like to make food. Just like to eat a lot of delicious and tasty dishes :)
